(Pronounced “Vaughan Again,” and being one of my nick-names for my older son, because I can't really shorten "Vaughan," now can I?)I've added the pattern link to the sidebar under "free patterns." Clicking either the picture or the title should bring you to the PDF file (thank you, Google Pages). If there are any problems downloading--I've never tried this before--or any questions on the pattern, please email me. And if anyone else makes it, I'd love to see a picture.
Happy Knitting!

The hats are really cute. And about the work thing. I love your answer " I work hard, I just don't get paid for it". I agree. Taking care of people takes time, energy and lots of thought. It's too expensive. No one could possibly hire you for what you are worth.
Stellar hat :) it looks really warm!
it looks so great. next winter, I'm making one for my hat-loving nephew.
Minus the USA, obviously!
Nice job. Both my boys pronounced it "cool." :)
It's a spectacular hat, and I love that Vaughan knew exactly what he wanted. I'm disappointed that Knitty didn't go for it; better luck next time.
amy, that is one cute hat.
Yep, great hat. My version will say esa.
Thanks, y'all.
Alala, thanks for the link, too. NEAT!
